Our Mission

Tax preparation for Expatriates ("Ex-pats")

Our Customers

Expatriates ("Ex-pats")

"An expatriate (in abbreviated form, expat) is a person temporarily or permanently residing in a country and culture other than that of his upbringing or legal residence. The word comes from the Latin ex (out of) and the Greek patria (¼atri? - country), and is sometimes misspelled (either unintentionally or intentionally) as ex-patriot or short x-pat, due to its pronunciation." Wikipedia®

A lot of tax services will not handle foreign based taxpayers. Maybe because they figure they have enough business with domestic taxpayers. Maybe because training their seasonal tax preparers to handle these is not worth the time, effort and cost for the few that do walk through the door. Nor are their products (refund anticipation loans, etc.) available outside the US - and those are a profit center for them.

So preparing tax returns for foreign based taxpayers is our specialty. With rare exceptions, that is all we do.

How it works

1) Organizer

Fill out our Text Organizer and e-mail back to us with the required information.

2) Preparation & return to you

We will e-mail you with any questions and prepare your return which we will ship back to you for your signature, copies for you to keep, and a mailing envelope addressed to the proper filing address. All you will need to do is sign your return, add your check, if required and put in your local mail or send by courier (FedEx or DHL) to the IRS (see below).

Other Associated Tax Preparers

We work with tax preparers around the world. If you prefer personal contact with your tax preparer, we can arrange that, though if you completely and timely respond to our tax questionnaire, it is usually unnecessary. We'll prepare your tax returns and send them to you by courier in time for filing.

We reserve the right to put you on extension if all information is not complete by March 15 of the tax year if you owe taxes due to be paid by April 15; or by May 15 for the June 15 extended filing date for international tax payers.
